A beautiful new range of hand crafted felt fashion accessories for women, children and men, housewares and gifts is now on sale through Etsy. Made in Mongolia, MIM, is a non-profit initiative established in order to promote self-sufficiency amongst the women of Mongolia. The MIM Collection is a voluntary collaboration between a team led by Irish fashion designer Pat McCarthy and Asral NGO, a social welfare NGO working in Mongolia. Asral NGO is promoting the sustainable use of local resources through traditional felting and sewing skills in order to improve these women’s livelihoods.
