Ecologist by day. Photographer, also by day.

I have always had a passion for critters. From the time I could walk, I was running around the forest, picking up box turtles and chasing blue jays through the trees. I've recently started a PhD program in Ecology, and to supplement my stipend I thought I'd share with you (yes you!) all of my critter and landscape photography I've captured over the years. From the stark beauty of Iceland to the diverse explosion of life in Costa Rica and Peru, my eye is often caught by bright colors, quirky creatures, and the play of light on leaves. I hope these photos provide you a window into my ecological world.
