Growing up I was fascinated with watching my mom sew and creating something new. She let me start sewing when I was four. It's always been fun for me. With encouragement from my family, friends, and local customers I am hoping this site will provide the opportunity to share my products all over the country. The name Maricole Designs is a combo of my two daughters' middle names, Marie and Nicole. I live in a small town in Ohio. I grew up on a dairy farm with three brothers. My husband and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. Our oldest daughter recently gave birth to our first grandchild (Isaiah Matthew) and my youngest daughter got married married in September. I love creating and making products that are practical and that will also last.

My idea for my pullover bibs was to create something soft and durable, easy to pull over the head, no snaps to bust or fall out and no velcro to wear out, just easy, pullover over, pull off when you are done bibs! And the best part is they fit from baby through toddler years, so from the first start of eating food through those messy "I do it myself years" this bib will last through it all.

I wanted my burp cloths to be soft also, so I made them out of flannel quilted with batting to be soft and absorbent. I wanted a contoured burp cloth that fit around your neck so it would lay nicely around your neck while burping your baby to have the best comfort and cute flannel designs!!

I also have other products and continue to add new things almost every day. I started on Etsy in 2009, took a break in 2014-2015 due to some family and job issues, but am back... in full swing and ready for my shop to grow as much as possible.
