I'm rating the interaction because I never received the actual product. Ordered July 6 (after a custom order convo with owner) - by August 21, it hadn't arrived. Sent three messages before I finally got a response on September 7 saying there were personal issues for the owners, but the manager was still processing orders in the order they were needed and asked when I needed it by. I responded that I'd like to have in hand by October 1 and asked if that was doable. No response - another handful of unanswered messages - I finally gave up and opened a case at the end of September. No surprise, immediate refund. Disappointing to be left scrambling for my wedding when I thought I'd given myself plenty of time. I understand that things happen, but just be honest and tell me to look elsewhere.

Owner/Partner - Suzi M.

Hi, all! My name is Suzi and I am one half of Maro and Company! The other half is Jay..the handsome stud in the above photo and the two photos to the right! : ) You can read a bit about him below!

So about me, well, first off, I love all things pretty, oh and I am addicted to my glue gun! Oh my goodness...I hot glue everything and I have the wicked scars from those not so great days to prove it! I'd like to think we have a love/hate relationship. I love working with jewels, paints, beads, threads and really anything intricate. Intricacies make everything more gorgeous! Adding details to our props just flat-out...makes me smile. Sketching things that people wouldn't normally see at a wedding or party is what makes my job fun. Design is my passion and my absolute favorite part of our business is receiving all the FAB photos from customers and friends! It's so exciting seeing all of our work and craft in life's fabulous events!

Jay is honestly, the brains behind the editing and crafting. I could sketch my little heart out, but if Jay doesn't make it come to life during editing, it's just not happening. He is the editing GENIUS, the BIG cheese, one crafty DEVIL, and all mine! In case he didn't know all those brilliant things already ; )

{MD - FOUNDED 2010}

We started in a very small studio in Pennsylvania, just over 4 years ago. Just the two of us, a pretty sweet concept and a glue gun of course! Today, we are located in sunny North Carolina with a bit more fun in the bunch! We have a pretty sweet black lab, an even sweeter little girl and an adorable babe boy! Phew..can you say CRAZY busy? No, seriously? I may just be snoozing as i'm typing this!

So, basically, the 411 on MD is just this.....what began with only six basic stache styles, not only grew to over 40 mustaches within the first year, but well over 200 fun and original pieces 4 1/2 years later! That's amaze-balls! The initial concept wasn't to blow up and be published in magazines and shop windows. It was to make something fun that we would use ourselves. Seriously, how many "Mrs. Cyclops" eyes do you see lurking around in any given wedding shot? It's not something you could ever imagine and definitely not the same old prop from around the corner.
