From beneath the coconut palms and lush greenery of Key West, our houseboat gently rocks with each ripple of the ocean blue. Life here is peaceful, serene and the beauty of the natural world around us speaks to the soul. My husband, 5 year old son and I feel so blessed to live on an island surrounded by crystal blue waters. Perhaps the bast part of living here is the sense of community.

Almost everyone relies upon bicycles to get around. Not having to deal with traffic jams and the pollution caused by an overpopulation of cars is heartwarming to say the least. However, once you combine life on the beach and bicycles some interesting issues arise. After experiencing firsthand how uncomfortable it is to sit on a hot leather bicycle seat in wet swimwear, my new business - Mellow Velo was born.

With a Fine Arts degree, I put some of my design background into good use and created my own product line. It has been a hit with locals in my community as well as online. My product line includes custom handmade bicycle seat covers and bicycle basket covers that serve double duty as tote bags. All of my designs are stylish and chic. So you'll always look picture perfect when you take that next spin on your bike!
