♥We ship via First Class USPS mail, if you would like to upgrade your shipping to Priority or Express just let us know and we will set up a custom listing for you.
♥We do ship worldwide but please be aware that shipping transit times vary greatly depending on the destination and local customs laws. Any customs fees charged are the responsibility of the buyer, we have no control over what destination countries charge and it varies greatly as well.
♥to give you an idea of transit time, when shipping to Australia most orders take 3 weeks transit time with standard First Class shipping, 1-3 weeks to the UK and generally 3 weeks to Canada. Please know that shipping time is on top of production time.
♥The USPS has just raised their International shipping rates (grrr), we have listed the lowest price we can for each item but we will certainly check all our overseas orders for over-payment of shipping , especially for multiple items purchased in one order and send you a refund if you have overpaid. If you like, please contact us before you make your purchase in order for us to get you an accurate shipping quote and we'll then create a custom listing for you.

Why is your leather NOT WATERPROOF? All leather is a natural skin, it retains moisture, gets dry and can warp and crack without proper care.. Just like us ;)

Leather in super rugged items like shoes, jackets and saddles are usually made with an Oil tanning process rather than the safer, more eco & health conscious Vegetable tanned process we support.

Then we use only the best eco & health conscious finishing products - eco-flo environmentally safe stains and varnishes. The varnishes are water-resistant but by no means waterproof. In order to get the permanent, water-proof finishes like you have on shoes, jackets and the like - we would have to use a toxic stain and finish that you can't even buy in California. Boo.

Sooo, we create a totally safe product that just needs a bit of your love and care. If it's a piece of jewelry or pet collar, remove before bathing, swimming, showering or hand washing.. if it does happen to get a splash on it, allow it to dry fully, don't wipe or rub it.

On all functional pieces, I add a conditioning creme to keep it supple and flexible and then a final layer of snow-proofing. This is a wax based polish that really helps protect the piece from the elements.

You may want to condition your pieces over time as the coats I've applied wear away, you can find wonderful conditioning cremes like Tandy's Leather Conditioner to make your pieces supple and rejuvenate them... This cream is a combination of natural and synthetic wax emulsions (with bees wax) and does an amazing job!

Please make sure to inspect the leather, clips d-rings and buckles on your collars and leashes for signs of wear and tear with use and age.
