Don't you just hate long intros? I swore I'd never do this – until I mucked through last year's holiday rush!

Since we are all up to our ears in this joyous 2009 holiday season, I wanted to put the most relevant info up front to hopefully answer common questions and keep things moving right along!

ORDERING: Every order is custom, but you can shop with complete confidence! I do my best to be sure each end every customer ends up with something uniquely 'theirs'.
Just order from a listing and simply put in the 'notes to seller' during checkout your preference for premade design # and what you'd like for your labels to say. If you don't find what you're looking for, just let me know your preference for clipart, font, colorway and what you'd like for your labels to say. If you are unsure about size or if I can do small, large, or half-fold labels; just give the above info and what you'll be using them for and I'll set it up a design layout for you. If you have a design or clipart already, just send your graphics file to the email address provided at PayPal checkout (with your etsy username in the subject line, please!).
In most cases, I can fit 2-3 lines of text – including your shop or website address.
About the only thing I can not do is draw a logo for your shop, 'clean up' or edit images, or give you 3-6 proofs to choose from...one design layout per order, please :)
IF YOU ARE A RETURNING CUSTOMER: Why are you reading this? Door's open and coffee's on...you know where the cups are :)

PROOFS: From the information you've provided, I will send along your proof via convo. Once approved (and payment cleared), your order will go to production.
I do my best to send proofs within 24 hours of purchase...please note that edits may take as long!
I can not send proofs, create designs, or make commitments without payment.

TURNAROUND: Once you give final approval on your proof : fabric labels are shipped in 1-3 business days; twill labels 3-5 business days.
I will not put one customer in front of another and do not offer expedited service as these turnaround times already kick butt :)
I do not list what I cannot complete in this timeframe.

SHIPPING: To keep costs down, I normally ship using USPS First Class mail to your etsy address on file. This means NO tracking information and delivery times of 2 days to 3 weeks (sometimes longer due to customs delays!). This year, I am putting up listings to include Priority Mail shipping.
IF you order using the lower priced option of First Class USPS: I can not be responsible for postal delays, nor can I tell you when it will arrive, where it is, etc. I will provide the date I mailed it from Dallas, Texas USA. All orders are walked in to the post office to be weighed and posted to assure there are no errors and that addresses and customs forms are complete and correct.
IF you order using Priority Mail: I will print a label from PayPal on the day your order will be taken to the post office. All Priority Mail shipments will be walked in to the post office and scanned in to their system. If you have not set up for PayPal to email shipment info to you, just go to your PayPal account and view the details of the transaction and the tracking number(s) will be right there! Please note that USPS' status on tracking may not update until after an item is delivered :)
IF you want another method of shipping: just send along a convo and I will adjust a listing to accommodate you.

Sorry to go on and on about this one, but I do get a lot of convos (even just a couple of days after an order shipped) asking questions about information already provided, asking for a tracking number or fretting that their deadline is looming.

CONVOS: I used to think it terribly rude to not answer the same day...this left me in front of the computer – just answering convos – for 6 to 8 hours a day. Seriously. The only thing I can do is get on line for 2 hours daily and work through (bottom up, in order) what I can. It is completely against my nature and rules of common courtesy, but, the only logical solution. I don't blog, twitter, myspace, facebook...just etsy...
