I make things.

Sometimes when I close my eyes I see lines and lines of stitching. I am happy when I sit in front of my grandma's Singer (which does not have a zig zag stitch) and sew away making handbags and birds. I just love the idea of making something that will be useful (a handbag) and decorating it with my own art work.

My bird-love comes from my grandparents too. They passed their passion for feathers to me, and now I have done the same with my son.
I have almost converted my husband.

My grandparents also nurtured my relationship with God. By their genuine and down-to-earth love for birds and love for each other, my grandparents taught me how much God loves me.

I know He is mindful of a little sparrow-and He sees me too.
