Unique handmade moonshine Jugs and whiskey Flasks inspired by traditional stoneware, with my own Pop Art illustrations. I follow in the tradition of Art Potters like George Ohr and the Cornwall brothers who's pottery commemorated special events or made social commentary. Each Jug is fully functional and dishwasher safe. With a reasonable amount of care it should give you years of pleasure.
MudBugs Pottery began early in 2004 with a sturdy electric wheel, some porcelain clay, and a portable raku kiln. We broadened our reach in 2007 with a small electric kiln almost 50 years old. This allowed us to begin producing enough volume for a limited number of Art Fairs and exhibiting annually. The success of online sales helped us to purchase our first fully-automated kiln in 2009, and mudbugspottery.com has since become a major facet of our annual sales. Our work is also found at Homespun in the Historic Irvington Neighborhood of Indianapolis, Vintage Karma in Tuscola, Illinois, Sugar Creek Boutique in Homer, Illinois and 6Pence in Carbondale, Illinois.

I create custom items with your graphic or mine in quantities of ten or more. A flask with your logo or wedding information can be a treasured momento or a great promotion tool. Follow the 'Request custom item' on the home page to contact me.
