A warm welcome to MoreOutoftheOrdinary, a boutique that includes my handmade creations and vintage linens from my personal collection.
My textile design philosophy centers on making heirloom treasures. Each creation is made from fabrics especially selected for the item, with the pattern layout on the fabric carefully placed to maximize use of the attritutes of the individual fabric. I add special touches to every item and carefully construct my creations to make them functional and durable as well as beautiful. Each and every item is unique. Because I work primarily with vintage and antique textiles, most of my fabrics are limited in amount and supply, so often I cannot recreate an item exactly.
About my shop name: For many years, I sold my handmade creations (including Christmas stockings), vintage linens, and textiles on another site under the name OutoftheOrdinaryTreasures. When I opened on Etsy over two years ago, it seemed natural to call this shop "MoreOutoftheOrdinary," because I had so many customers familiar with my original name on the other site. I now sell exclusively on Etsy and have even opened two additional specialty shops to make it easier for my wonderful and loyal customers who are shopping specifically for textiles or Christmas stockings. About shipping cost: Since Etsy cannot calculate shipping to individual zip codes, shipping cost is to the farthest destination. In many cases, the actual cost will be less, and any excess shipping paid will be refunded through Paypal immediately following shipment. Shipping cost is quoted only for the US, but I also ship to the UK, Australia and Canada. Please convo me to request international shipping cost for a specific item or combination of items. International purchase listings will be set up after shipping cost is determined for the specific order to be placed.
