Welcome to Mother Earth’s Well. Please come in and look around. Although I am primarily a jewelry maker, you may find a wide variety of goodies here ranging from jewelry, accessories, and clothing to soaps, candles and decorative items, depending on what my creative muse has taken a fancy to at the moment. I like to experiment and play with lots of things. I find that there are just so many wonderful materials to work with, inspiration is everywhere! If a new creation turns out well, I’ll put it here in the shop.

When making jewelry, I have generally preferred semi-precious stone beads and sterling silver findings....I know I'll never have to worry about plated finishes wearing off when I use sterling silver, it's so durable, and it just gets better looking with age. Natural stone beads just feel so good and have such nice energy. I think that they are the absolute best if I am making a piece for a specific purpose. But, I have recently become enamored of glass beads and copper. There are so many really pretty and unique glass beads available, and you can do so much with them.....I just couldn't resist and I have started using them in some of my pieces. As for copper, it makes for such a rich and warm look, and it carries energy so well. As more and more findings have become available, it has become a must for some of my pieces.

I also like to make one-of-a-kind (or limited edition) purses, bags and totes, and I find re-styling clothing to be great fun. With the purses, bags and totes, I prefer to work with heavier materials such as tapestries, upholstery fabrics, heavy denims and leathers. Occasionally, I really get creative and come up with something knitted or crocheted using some of the great new yarns that have come on the market, or strands of leather, ribbon or strips of cloth. With the re-styles, I like to work with jackets, especially denim ones. Denim jackets are so versatile, and there are so many things that can be done with them to make them very special. Not only do they become clothing articles that can't be found anywhere else, they are wearable art of the highest order. Watch for one of my purses, bags or totes, or a re-styled clothing item to pop up in my store now and then. I never know when inspiration will hit or what the item will be, so check the store frequently if you fancy such goodies, they seldom last long once I finish with them.

Sometimes, in my forays out and about, I come across vintage jewelry and accessories that are just too good not to share. You may occasionally find one of these beauties here in my shop, also. My ultimate goal for my shop is to make available quality items that not only lift your spirit and put a twinkle in your eye, but help you get more closely connected to Spirit, if that is what you seek to do.
