MysticKnotwork's Shop Announcement

You have found the Mystic Knotwork Etsy site. As featured at the inaugural Martha Stewart American Made Event in October of 2012, again in 2013, and in the May Issue of Martha Stewart Living, these are the sailor bracelets, home decorations, and nautical wedding accessories showcased as representing quality you can expect when Martha and her team seek out artisans.

If you have visited the Connecticut or Rhode Island shoreline since 1970, you have seen our bracelets. In the last two years on Etsy, we have delighted over 1,000 customers with our commitment to quality. We are especially proud to help make nautical weddings and other events special.

We all love the sea. Some of us sail while others surf. Friends swim and tan on the beach. Of all the images of summers in the hot New England sun, the traditional sailor bracelet completes the picture. Call back memories of the sea or vivid daydreams with our classic bracelets.

Etsy is one of our online retail outlets for our handmade sailor knots and other work. As we explore patterns and color, one of a kind or limited 'production' pieces can be found here along with our famous natural white sailor bracelets.

My wife and I make the original sailor rope bracelet and other pieces of nautical knot work. In the 1960’s, my grandfather started the tradition of quality workmanship in custom milled American cotton cord. Our family has made and sold thousands of white sailor bracelets for aquariums, museums, gift and tourist shops in Southern New England. As we grow, I'm proud to announce that Christa, our daughter, has joined the team. While she is learning to tie the knots along with her mom and dad, Christa's role is to help her mom with pack and ship and to help her dad keep track of our workload, projects, and inventory. She gets to tell her dad what to make :) She also gets to go ‘on location’ to take pictures. In other words, she gets to go to the beach.

Share in the tradition today with our classic sailor bracelet. If you scoff at tradition, find the perfect pattern and color to match your style.

We answer multiple requests from prospective wholesale customers every day, and we welcome the right shops. We support small business and are looking to share our sailor bracelets and other nautical work with shops that prefer the American quality that has been our goal for over 50 years.
