We are a professional blacksmith team making quality, hand forged, American made products in the mountains of North Carolina... old world style...and we love what we do! We're known for our quick communication, fast shipping and the highest quality products. That is always our goal. Please let us know if you did not receive that, and we will do all that we reasonably can to make it right! We really do care about your experience with us and the quality of each and every one of our products, not just your review. Please be aware of the following:
Coloration (amount and brightness) of brass brushed items can vary based on many factors that we do not control.
Scaling is a natural part of the process of forging and can look like metal pieces flaked off. The pattern this forms, is part of what makes every piece a beautiful, unique, one-of-a-kind, work of art. No two have the same pattern.
Every railroad spike has a Manufacturer's "Mark of Authenticity" on the spike head. This will have a letter V followed by a number with more numbers underneath that. This tells us when, where, and by what machine the spike was made. THIS IS NOT personalization that we did. If you order a spike item and do not get the head personalized, the Maker's Mark of authenticity will appear there.
Please note that the process of oxidation that occurs when the heated steel is exposed to the air, can cause the steel to take on colors such as red, blue, brown or green. This is not rust and is not a defect, just a natural occurrence when working with metal. We consider this to be the metal adding it's own touch to your unique piece of art.
Our finishes are intended for indoor use only, including our cabinet hardware, hooks and the dinner triangle. They do not have a rustproof coating. Exposure to the elements, a lot of moisture, and especially salt water environments may cause rust. (Bathrooms are fine as long as it isn't a beach house with salty conditions) If rust begins to form, whether it be on hardware, a knife, or any other product we sell, rub it down right away with paste wax and it will right back to beautiful. If you wish to have them outdoors, please consider a good rustproof coating first.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take for my personalized knife or bottle opener order to ship? What if it's a group set?
Usually our processing times are 3-5 business days. With the current state of the post office, they are running 4-7 days in transit time unless it's express. If you need it in a hurry, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Just let us know in a conversation or in the notes when you need to receive your item/s and we will do our best or let you know if there's a problem.
What do I do if I need to change my shipping address?
Just send us a message, we use a third party shipping service and can change your address instantly.
What shipping service do you use? Should I use my PO BOX or physical address?
We only use USPS (United States Postal Service). If you have a PO BOX definitely use that address.
Where can I get a sheath for my knife?
We have our own in house custom made sheaths.

Can the door and cabinet hardware be used outside or on exterior doors?
Unless otherwise stated in the listing all of our finishes are intended for indoor use, including all cabinet and door hardware. Exposure to moisture, humid conditions, and salt water environments may cause rust.
