My name is Julie, and I have known my creative partner - Charlie - since 1976. We have a lot in common. Two of those things are working with metal and making jewelry. I have been making jewelry seriously since 1974, and have a degree in jewelry making and art. My first Steampunk pieces were made in 1980 when enrolled in an Art Metals college course (couldn’t afford precious metals). I made a whole series of pieces utilizing watch parts – including pendant necklaces with etched pocket watch parts - and boy did I get ridiculed (that’s not ART)! In the end everything sold except for a few pins I have to this day.
My store partner; Charlie has been making jewelry for longer than I have! At one point he had a jewelry store in the historic Sydney Hih building in Milwaukee's Third Ward where he sold all original designs. We live in the United States near Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
All of our pieces are made with attention to detail and quality.
