All new orders for custom items have a completion time frame of 7 weeks from the purchase date (does not include the shipping travel time) ....this is due to the amount of orders currently on my schedule. THE DESIGNER OF ONCE UPON A BUSTLE: ESTHER SKANDUNAS

Sewing is my life.....LITERALLY!! I am a professional Theatrical Costume Designer and Dressmaker. I have been sewing since birth...almost!!! I have been a professional seamstress for the past 16 years and I am pleased to finally share my work with the rest of the world!

I began sewing at the age of 5...with my mother teaching me. From there I continued to sew through grade school, junior high, and once I hit high school I was able to enroll in an ROP course for Fashion Production. Upon graduating high school I was hired as a seamstress for the OLD GLOBE THEATRE in San Diego at the age of 17. I was a seamstress for the theatre for 6 years.

I now work at a local community college in San Diego as the Costume Manager/ Technician. I was hired at the college on my 24th birthday, and I have been in charge of costume creation and construction at the college for 9 years now. I am now 33 years old and decided to open up an Etsy shop last year because I LOVE to make beautiful quality pieces and I wanted the general public to be able to purchase my creations.....not just have them be on stage in the theatre :o)

Please be aware that orders going out of the states have a higher shipping rate.
