Welcome to One Bright Spot! Our little shop of handmade goods was started in memory of our grandparents, Renee and Sydney. Our art was originally inspired by Renee's romantic life journey. Jen's vintage mixed media art reminds us of their early years in London and Southend-On-Sea, where Sydney worked at the Kursaal as a carnival booth operator. England once called the Kursaal "One Bright Spot" for its place of exciting entertainment. Their years coming to America are reflected through Becca's simply stated cards which capture the cheerful colors and pleasures of Santa Barbara, California.
