I love One Sixth Sense! They have top quality hand made miniatures from the 6 piece place setting of silver ware for a 1/6th size table to beautiful floral arrangements as centerpieces. You’ll find interesting drinks and cocktails, and back to my 6 piece silver flatware, a must for any place setting. You’ll find cakes and many sweet treats, just don’t eat them as they are for you dolls’ private world. Check back often as new merchandise is in the shop always! The Business of Being OSS

Thank you for visiting OSS!

OSS has its roots in my love of Barbie. I began collecting fashion dolls almost 25 years ago when I went online to find information on my childhood Barbie doll. I discovered an amazing online community of collectors and artists, and I immediately felt at home. I met some wonderful people and some of my dearest friends today I first met way back when.

OSS is short for One Sixth Sense, and it sprang to life about 15 years ago. I work in 1/6 scale most of the time, so that inspired the name. I also work in the larger 1/4 scale on occasion. I am what I like to call a "dedicated dabbler". I do a little bit of a lot of things, and I usually have several projects going at once. I paint, I sculpt, I sew, I crochet and knit, I write. All of it blends together into my doll art in some way, shape, or form. OSS is the perfect outlet for what I love to do!

When my husband retired a few years ago, he began to help me with my vision for 1/6 scale furniture and other items for OSS that he works on in his shop aka the garage. He does what I cannot, and it has been and continues to be a wonderful part of our relationship.
