Palimpsestic

My mixed-media collages, garland, bookmarks and writer toys are made from old books, vintage ephemera, textured papers, paint, cheesecloth, wax, and other strange and wonderful materials. All my original work contains real historical pieces rather than digital prints or reproductions.

Just as a palimpsest is a manuscript used and reused over time, my library chic creations hint at the past lives of the objects included in them. When you buy one of my originals, you'll find yourself holding items used and loved by someone 50-100 years ago--real pieces of history combined and turned into something new and unique.
