My name is Karen, I lived in Japan for many years, and I create one of a kind jewelry from Japanese paper and fabric.
I call it organic origami.


My materials are Japanese washi and chiyogami papers and chirimen and shibori fabric. I love to bring these fabulous papers and fabrics into modern accessories you can wear every day. It's cross-cultural jewelry---bringing the best of Japan to American style.

I've been collecting Japanese paper and fabric for over 25 years and I love digging into my collection to create something new!

And my Paper Earth line of earth-friendly jewelry from locally-sourced recycled and salvaged materials has the same color and style--with zero carbon footprint!
