I create one of a kind papier mache dog and cat angels. I have always wanted to be an artiist since I was a child . I formalized my study of art at the Rochester Institute Of Technology, Rochester NY, majoring in Painting. After a lean Christmas out of college I made papier mache "Santa" ornaments for my family. I was hooked and have not stopped creating treasures out of papier mache.
I also love animals in particular dogs and cats. We had a menagerie of dogs growing up: Border Collie, Basset Hound, Shih Tzu, Labrador Retriever, etc. You'll see alot of these breeds in my work. I like to mix up folk art or primitive themes with my work. So you
might see your Boston Terrier dressed as the Easter Bunny or your Pug dressed as Santa Claus.
I am a published author and illustrator and just finished my fourth children's book. My
childrens book characters are "papier mache bunnies", Ruby and the gang! I use a combination of characters, photography and watercolor for my illustrations. For more information on my books, check out my website:
