About these maps: These typographical images are a combination map and work of art. Each contains the names of neighborhoods (city maps), and cities (state and country maps). In order to create detailed images the neighborhoods and cities are placed randomly and in various sizes using a variety of fonts. There are duplicates (it’s another method employed to create each map’s detail). Duplicates are in different sizes, fonts, and are not located near each other.
I can customize any map with any neighborhood or city and in any color you choose – There’s a limit of 3 per map during the busy seasons. Please contact me with any questions.

Maps have long been a staple in the ever changing world of decorating. The challenge has always been to create visually interesting variations that will fit every decorating need. I'm constantly searching for ways to create maps that will appeal to a broad range of interest and markets.

My name is David and I’m a artist living in the Chicago area. My original interest has been in photography but recently I've begun to explore print making. The maps listed in this shop reflect that interest.

Maps are printed on archival paper for decades of enjoyment. Smaller sizes are printed in my studio (8" x 10" to 13" x 19"). Larger images 16" x 20", 20" x 30" and custom sizes are printed by commercial printers that provide excellent products and customer service.

Shipping: Maps printed in my studio and sizes up to 20" x 30" are shipped within 3 business days. Custom sizes are shipped within 5 business days and may take up to 10 business days from order to receipt.
