An interesting bit of handwork. This is a piece made up of 3 rows of rectangle shaped mirrors embroidered in heavy threads in black, pink, red, blue, and a soft peach embellished with row upon row of opaque white seed beeds. On the lower edge a row of sphere shaped silver dangles run the length with a tinkler piece in the middle. The piece measures 4” wide and 25” long. This piece reminds me of a spring afternoon reflecting in a river side. I am not sure what this piece was in it’s former life but I know it is ready to be transformed into something new

This vintage fabric piece is from India a Tandor Hanging for window or doorway. Fun piece embroidered with 2 elephants facing each other. Bright primary colors yellow blue, red, fuchsia, turquoise ,and a dark purpled blue Satin stitch used through out the piece very cheerful. Satin like material used to form 6 fluttering pendants with tiny tassels, checkerboard design combined with tiny mirrors to keep bad luck away. This gorgeous long piece has shisha mirrors sewn from end to end straight up the middle. Liquid silver threads are crossed and broken up by punches of red thread. Then, at each end are beautiful 7-pointed stars with mirrored centers. At the bottom, is delicate, yet short beaded fringe.

Wearing this, you'll feel quite powerful and yet sparkly.

How to use it?
We recommend a dance belt, collar of a coat, strap of a purse or bag, or frame for a picture.

What's black and white and shiny all over? This tribal belt is, that's what!

This dark, long piece has shisha mirrors sewn from end to end straight up the middle. Metal sequin buttons are sewn on one edge and in-between mirrors. The shisha mirrors are surrounded by deep red and both sides have pointed applique trim in the shape of the sharp teeth of protection.
