So, to those of you who are new to my work, I have been making beads for more than 14 years now. Prior to that, I was an off-hand, glassblower for 5 years at the Toledo Museum of Art and a cold-glass artist for another 7 years. My beads are handmade in my home studio in Portland, OR. I primarily use Italian (soft) Glass, Reichenbach glass and Double Helix glass with copper, silver and gold applications to create one-of-a-kind focals as well as pairs and sets of beads that are intended for jewelry designers who need lampworked glass beads in consistent sizes and patterns throughout the year.
