I studied photography many moons ago in Nova Scotia but fell out of the habit of doing it very often. However, after being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing surgery and chemotherapy in 2015 I realized that I needed to dust off my cameras and spend more time doing the things that I love. I was additionally invigorated by the gift of my grandfather's old cameras, particularly his 1930s Kodak Jiffy. So I look forward to my continued rediscovery of photography, albeit, part-time while I continue my studies to become a social worker.
