My work is about creativity, inspiration, faith and family--about the "beautiful mess" that life can be and the blessing it is to choose joy and to make a home and a family no matter what challenges face us in life. My contemporary illustrations are created with watercolor, pen-and-ink, graphite and colored pencil. I also enjoy collage--I like to cut up my paintings, mix in some vintage paper and messy acrylic paint, and then glue them back together again. "Story" is very important in my art, with bright colors and expressive, graphic lines acting as the "characters" that act out LIFE and the joy that can be found when we give thanks for everything--even the hard things we go through.

All of my archival prints are printed on gallery-quality artist watercolor paper and signed by hand--plus, they come with a certificate of authenticity. Most of my work can be printed in different sizes--if you don't see exactly what you want in my shop, please just ask!
