Pins n Needles Cases evolved from two previous Etsy shops.
My daughter's impending wedding several years ago resulted in an Etsy shop that specialized in fabric bridal flowers for wedding gowns and headpieces. I next moved to creating tutorials for my flowers: Pins and Needles DIY.
Recalling past years at the sewing machine, I realized that I was happiest when I hear the machine humming along. I started sewing on the machine when I was ten years-old and was lucky to have a mother that encouraged and supported my passion for sewing and fabrics.
As a teacher, I began looking at alternatives for protection of my electronic devices. The next step was working with the wool felt. I love the simplicity of the fabric, the feel and sturdy quality of the wool, and the minimalist look of the felt.
