*************SHOP IS GOING INTO HIBERNATION ON NOVEMBER 19TH*************


Welcome to my quaint little shop...if I had to paint(or snap) a picture for you, I would like to describe for you my shop, as being, a picturesque little Mom & Pop shop located in some old downtown village-type mountain hamlet. Surrounded by other shops just as homey as mine, I walk to work each morning, greeting other shop owners and asking them about their sick puppy or their vegetable patch. I would unlock my shop door (although in such towns locks are not needed), flip the "Closed" sign to "Open" and go about my day sharing my wonderful world of photography with others, while eating homemade rock candy and drinking sarsaparilla from the local soda fountain. THIS...would be "picture perfect" and extraordinary in my book...you could even say, " A little bit of Heaven."...yet, though I WOULD HAVE LIKED to tell you all that...I can't. I actually live in the big city, about 40 miles east of Los Angeles, CA. My dream of living in this lovely little world I've created is only realized through the photography of everyday life. Don't be fooled...photography can take you anywhere you want to go:)

Somewhere in between the land of purely abstract and incredibly heavenly there lies a land of simple beauty. This is what I strive to capture in my lens through the eyes of everyday life. Animals, flowers and objects can take on a whole persona when you look at them in a certain light. Stories can be made up about the busy little bee finding food for his family, the ragged ol' baseball who lived an exciting life in the world of professional sports, the guitar who was so sad and lonesome and dusty because he hadn't been played in years, or the hummingbird that loved to be in the limelight:) Any of my pictures can take on a story that you make up for them... go ahead, have fun...explore and allow your imagination to run wild. Be creative, think big:)
WARNING: Writers, Literature fanatics, and those of you with ADHD- You may be in here for a LONG time...make sure you don't have anything cooking on the stove and remember to check on the baby every once in a while:)
