Plummique has been created as a small side business to help my husband and I raise money to start our family.
Four years ago, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The side effects from his chemotherapy make it impossible for us to conceive children naturally. The good news is that we can do in vitro. The bad news is that it is very expensive...even if we lived in a stable economy.
For my day job, I do graphic design from home for my husband's family business. I opened this little shop not only because we really need extra finances to pay for this baby, but also because I love to make things.
I love earrings. I've been collecting beads for years. Some vintage, some new. I learned to sew and crochet as a kid and have since fallen in love with making handbags, belts, hats...or whatever happens when I feel like creating something. I will also be designing custom Etsy banners for new shops should you need one. I hope to get a few of my artistic sisters on board once things are up and running.
