Welcome to Prim and Proper Boutique! The ORIGINAL lace bridal tank top shop. Prim and Proper is owned and operated sole by me, Whitney. There are many shops on Etsy that are run by big warehouses, but here you will get the personal and intimate attention that you deserve! Everything is made to order with my own two hands, with no outside assistance. This is my full time job and provides for my family. I do ask that you please be respectful of my time and business as I promise to do the same in return :-) I treat all customers the way I would want to be treated, and strive for the best customer service. While I do have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, please remember that when you ask me to take back an item that you purchased and is made to order just for you, it will be thrown away and is a financial loss to my business and my family. I do try to give a full and detailed of description of each item that I sell so that there are not any misunderstandings. Purchasing on Etsy is like purchasing on any other retail website: You place your order and pay, and then receive your order in the mail. Prim and Proper accepts credit cards and PayPal for your convenience. Only items shipped to my home state, California, will be taxed.
All items are shipped via USPS priority mail from Los Angels, CA. On average, items take 4-5 days after I ship them for domestic packages, and 10+ days for international packages. Please remember I need some time to make the items, which also takes another 1-3 days of my time. While most customers get their items within a week and a half of ordering, I always suggest ordering as early as possible; even months ahead of time. I do orders on a first come first serve basis, so when you contact me to make your order and send it out the same day, remember that you are cutting the production line of about 20 pending orders. I also suggest ordering apparel during their off season. So if you are having a winter wedding and want velour sweatsuits, it is a good idea to order in the summer when they are still in stock.
I never guarantee an exact delivery date. I can only promise you the day I am going to ship the item out. Since the delivery is out of my control once I drop it off at the post office, I do not like to make promises that are really out of my hands. That being said, I have only had 1 out of 1000 packages get returned to me, due to the customer providing the wrong address. Again, this is why I suggest ordering early because stuff happens!
Refunds and Exchanges
All pieces are made to order, which are therefore final sale. There are always special circumstances that occur, but for the most part, I do not accept returns or exchanges. Please read the item's entire listing description before purchasing. I try to describe the items in great detail and answer all questions there. All items are made to order so when you return an item, it is thrown away and is a loss for my business and my family. If any item is delivered to you damaged, I will 100% return or exchange it for you. For those special occasions that I do exchanges, the buyer must pay to ship the original item back to me and pay for the item being exchanged shipping charges to them. No one wants to pay shipping charges so I always try to get it right the first time :-)
Additional Policies and FAQs
Q: There is no where to give you my size and color I want, what do I do?
A: In the notes section when checking out, you type in all of the details for your order.
Q: I want the lettering to be on the back of the shirt, not the front like you have it in the pictures.
A: All items are made to order. I do not make the apparel, I just affix the rhinestones and lettering. If you would like the placement of a word to be somewhere else on the clothing that is not shown in the picture, that is no problem! Just let me know where you would like it and I will make it happen.
Q: How do I know what size I am?
A: Descriptions of the clothes sizing is in the description of each listing. The descriptions are pretty accurately described. Also, you can read my customer's feedback to hear what they think of the sizing.
Q: What are junior sizes?
A: Junior sizes are NOT kids sizes. Junior sizes are comparable to B.P. Nordstrom, Guess, Wet Seal, Forever21. All of my items are juniors clothing: Tanks, Tees, Robes, Bikinis, Tracksuits.
Q: When will I get my order?
A: On average it takes a week and a half to get your order. Although I never guarantee and exact delivery date, I do promise the day I will ship out the item. Please order as early in advance as possible. It is always wise to plan ahead.
Q: I want to put my name on the clothing, but I do not see an option for that.
A: Custom/Personalized work is on average $15 extra. Please contact me for a custom listing.
Q: Can I get a discount on this?
A: All prices have been made based on the assumption that a customer would be ordering more than once item since most do for their bridal parties. I do offer discounts for order of 12 or more. I try to be as fair as possible with my prices, but please remember this is my full time job and provides for my family.
