I have been working on folk art and primitives doll, Santa's and snowmen for years. Fifteen years ago I was fortunate enough to take Scandinavian Flat Plane carving classes. It was there that I learned to love the primitive look. Many of my Santa faces are carved from clay with my carving knife. Each one is a labor of love and a one of kind. I love the vintage look so I do use old quilts and fabrics in some of my work.
