My love for creating started early, so says my mamma. And for as long as I can remember, I was happier with blank paper and a fresh pack of crayons than with any Barbie or bicycle.

Fast forward twenty-ish years and my first company, Puddleduck Paper Co. was born out of a very tiny dorm room at a very tiny desk in 2005. My love for patterned paper evolved into a passion for creating my own designs and sending them in the form of witty greetings to people I love. Then, that evolved into designing wedding paper suites with bold graphics and punchy colors. After several years as a teacher-by-day and designer-by-night, I took the leap into full-time design in 2012 and have not looked back.

This year, Puddleduck Paper officially transitioned to a new brand and business name, Green Tie Studio, to reflect the variety of creative services we offer in addition to paper goods. Though the business has grown leaps and bounds in the past several years, I still feel giddy when speaking to a new client for the first time.
