International shipping prices have increased greatly. Sellers must go to the post office in person to mail patterns. Some postal clerks will ship them as large envelopes, others will only ship them as packages. There is a big difference in the price. I have no control over which clerk I get and what they will say. I ask for them to be shipped as envelopes but I can't always get that. Plus, if it is a thick pattern, they ship it as a package no matter what. So my shipping prices are for packages. If the clerk ships it as a large envelope then I will refund the excess shipping via PayPal. This usually amounts to around $4, more or less.
