Welcome to Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen. My business was founded in 2001 when I began making handmade shea butter soaps as an alternative to commercial soaps which I found drying and would often break out my skin. I hope you like my alternatives as much as me and my family do.
Please note that all listings on etsy are for a single item ie. single bar of soap or single lotion unless otherwise stated in the listing and are in stock at time of sale.
Payment
Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen accepts orders from the USA only at this time. All payments are processed through Paypal or in the case of Etsy, via Etsy direct checkout. VA customers pay 5% sales tax which will be added to your order total when you check out. You can check out with Paypal using any major credit card or an echeck which will debit your checking account. If you pay via Echeck, your order is not complete until your echeck has cleared.
Shipping
Please verify your address in paypal before submitting payment as orders are shipped to the address provided in paypal. Should you enter the wrong address in paypal and your order has already shipped, you may have your order re-shipped to you for an additional shipping fee once the order has been returned to Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen.
In the result of a shipping error in which Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen is at fault, Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen will take every measure to correct the error at the company expense.
All orders placed will normally be shipped within 1 - 3 business days upon receipt of payment, but no later than 7 days after payment has cleared. Echecks must clear before shipping. Once an echeck has cleared it will be shipped following the guidelines above. Packages will be sent via USPS. All U.S.A. orders will be shipped with delivery confirmation and can be tracked at USPS.com.
Refunds and Exchanges
Because of the personal nature of the items sold, returns of soaps and other personal care products will not be accepted. If you have problems with a product, please contact Rebecca to see if a resolution can be reached. Otherwise all sales are final.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Please note that because these are handmade products and are not mass produced that quantities are limited. In the event an item(s) you order is out of stock due to human error you will be refunded for that item(s). Additionally, due to the handmade nature of these products there may be natural variations from product to product. You may notice color and style variations between soaps as every batch is unique.
I reserve the right to cancel any order I see fit should I feel it is fraudulent or am not comfortable with the transaction.

Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen has been a registered business in the state of Virginia since 2001 and carries the appropriate insurance as a business as required by law.
