This is a flower garden afghan I have bee working on. When finished will have a border of African flowers.

Redesigned Rags gives us the opportunity to keep on making beautiful and unique items without crowding us out of house and home.

After making a ton of bags from my mother's old vintage materials and giving them to my daughters, sister and nieces I realized there may be others out there interested in my designs. The girls loved the bags and from there the idea of redesigning things from old discarded materials was born. I'm still working through my tons of collected fabrics and materials. I'm too easily distracted by new ideas to ever get through it all. Doing what I do allows me to exercise my hands and my mind.
