Welcome to our market place!
We are the ladies of the Refugee Sewing Society. We now live in Atlanta, Georgia, but we traveled here from many places around the world – Sudan, Somalia, Rwanda, Burundi, Burma, Bhutan, and others. Though we escaped genocide in these war-torn countries and have suffered much, we have hope for a better future.
The aim of The Refugee Sewing Society is to find healing through creative arts and crafts as we build self-sustaining business that will allow us to work at home while caring for our children.
