Alejandra is a fine artist, metalsmith, and designer whose love of painting, adornment, history, and all things handmade is poured into one-of-a-kind works. Upon receiving her BFA in Painting, she further explored traditional metalsmithing in combination with contemporary portrait painting. Each repetitive movement involved in hand fabrication is compulsory and meditative; the result is beautifully complex. Elements found in nature, food, and curious objects evoke universal feelings, memories, and moods that are woven into her work.
