Original Artwork

I have dabbling in Art for a long time. My job involves me with color everyday. I have tried to explore color, form, light and shadow using the wide variety of materials I collect.Sometimes I then photograph the result, and manipulate it more ( when I like it - It's done ) This shop contains some of my successful experiments, they are spontaneous and loose. The individual one of a kind works are mounted in black mattes, and come with self adhesive hang tag, and cardboard backer, so you can choose your favorite frame. My goal is to have images that amaze, amuse,inspire, or just plain decorate your world.

=== Embedded Art ====
These pendants are made of small snippets of larger painting, photos, or sculptures I have created. I generally find a "favorite" part of the piece and use it on its own - either embedded in resin or under glass. Although I may use the same original, each pendant is unique!

Please note that these are water resistant, but NOT waterproof! Avoid wearing in the shower or pool.

The cord they are displayed with are included.

===== Treasure Chest =====
I started making jewelery because I had amassed a collection of beads. I enjoyed the hunt for interesting, unique, and vintage glass beads. I couldn't pass up a jewelry box filled with tangled and broken strands. I also discovered the amazing colors of the earth's bounty of semiprecious stones. The challenge of mixing and matching color and shape to create a unique piece of jewelry was my design process. My reluctance to make the same thing twice leaves me with lots of orphans and leftovers.
I strive to move on - making my own beads and glass focal pieces as well as cast silver and bronze sculptural pieces, but still I can't pass up a table full of beads or an estate sale full of someones forgotten treasures. I know I share my obsession with many and my need to clean house to make room for new collections is an opportunity for all the other collectors and creators out there. My treasure chest section consists of grab bag like collections of leftovers and some beads I just have too many of. So, take advantage and enjoy the unique hard-to-find beads.
