My ambition is to create photo realistic paintings in the medium of pastels. It makes me happy when I hear people ask if my paintings are "Photographs or Artwork"? Some of my originals take two to three months to complete. Being a self-taught artist you can imagine my delight upon achieving Signature Status with the Pastel Society of America and being declared a "Master Painter" by the International Artist Magazine. The Pastel Journal has published an article on how I achieve my style and I enjoyed the honor of having my artwork on the cover of several magazines.
