I originally hand-sculpted each little face from polymer clay then reproduced them in resin. From their sculpted faces to the curled feathers in their hats, every MRS.T.BAGG art doll is handmade by the artist, that is to say, me!
What does she do, you may ask? She makes you smile! She's a bit of whimsy for your teacup! She's an art doll, named for an elementary teacher, Mrs. Theadore Bagg. Hence the name Mrs.T.Bagg!
Dressed in new fabrics, vintage lace and antique buttons, MRS.T.BAGG was originally created to be a place marker and party favor for guests at special tea parties. The “tea tag” would be customized to display the intended guests name. She has since then become very popular and here I am today, still making faces!
MRS.T.BAGG has been sold in many fashionable locations including the beautiful Biltmore Estate gift shop in North Carolina, tea shops in England and Germany, to private homes in Australia, Switzerland, and France as well as numerous antique stores, gift shops, and Tea Houses throughout the U.S.A.
