"Vintage Style with a Modern Attitude" is my creative motto.
I have been sewing for 28 years, since I was 4, starting with my first doll quilt and moving on to Barbie clothes. I was making my own clothes and first "real" quilt by the time I was 11.
I love vintage clothes and re-using items!
I am a perfectionist, with an eye for detail and what works in putting something together. Nothing I have made is ever exactly alike; I pride myself that with the hundreds of items I've made over the years, each has been individual and one-of-a-kind. My style has evolved and I let some current fashions in colors, etc, seep into my designing; but my personal style has a vintage undercurrent through most of it and somehow it always works.
