Hi everyone, thank you so much for visiting my etsy shop!! I hope you find something that you just can't live without.

I have to start out by addressing my prices. I have been asked why my items are priced as they are. My answer is that these frames are 100% HANDMADE. They are not used frames, bought at a thrift store and spray painted. The wood I use is no less than 100 years old and costs a good deal of money to acquire for I have to travel over seas to gather most of it. These items really are for those individuals that recognize true quality and have an appreciation for timeless antiques and craftsmanship.

Each one is lovingly handcrafted from an antique cabinet door (which makes this an environment friendly item). Most of these doors are over 100 years old, and they reflect those years through their unique beauty. The wood, originally harvested from such magnificent trees such as Maple, Oak, Elm and Eucalyptus gives each one it's own individual character. The frames, using mortise and tenon contain no nails, therefore enhancing the craftsmanship and unique appearance. Due to the fact that they are handmade from wood that is older than any of us, some small indention's and grooves are common and are very much a part of their uncommon beauty. If you are not crazy about the ribbon, it can easily be removed and replaced with the ribbon of your choice! You can even change it with the seasons if you choose! And... if your buying this as a gift for someone, you don't have to stress yourself out over what color you think they might like. How cool is that?

If you see a particular mirror or chalkboard and it is too wide, to dark etc, just convo me to see if I have another one in my "stash" that fits your space.
