Each "Refugee Beads" item is signed and carries a rich story of these women and their journeys.

Refugee Beads consists of women in the USA from around the world: Sudan, Burma, Bhutan, Egypt, Liberia, and Iraq.

Refugee Beads is about building community, working with our hands, sharing stories, encouraging one another, and learning business skills.

Some of these women have spent more then a decade in refugee camps, seeking safety from their war-torn countries. Their stories are heartbreaking but their spirits are strong. The goal is to give them a platform to create something of value and an opportunity to see the fruits of their labor.
