THE WIRE: My jewelry is primarily crafted in 14/10 G.F (1/10 14kt.). We call it "Double Gold Filled" as it has twice the 14kt outer layer as the standard 14/20 G.F. The 14kt gold layer over brass is 100 times heavier than plated metal.It will not discolor. This wire costs 3 times more than silver. We are now offering tarnish resistant Argentium Silver.
