Something Else Studio Accessories: ~ Where history and imagination meet ~
My sturdy wearable art tapestry and canvas shoulder bags, fur trimmed cloaklet, and fancy crowns are handcrafted by Jannelle. These are all my own copyright designs inspired by historical medieval & renaissance items, yet given to my interpretation and imagination. They are all handcrafted by myself and are solidly constructed for years of use. The fabrics are the finest quality and no adornment is ever pasted on. Many of these focal pieces are hand-made and purchased from other craftspeople in metals, stone, ceramics, horn or wood. I hand wrap all the jeweled dangles and adornments with quality beads and gemstones making these jeweled bags. Every item is unique so they will all have a special individual enchantment. All my hand-painted pockets are original paintings right on canvas. All are my own drawings/designs, except for the Celtic Knots. Find us at the 36 Annual Maryland Renaissance Festival, Crownsville, NY this fall. The festival starts August 25 and ends October 21 for the 2012 season. Find us in our building on Valley Meade.
