SalmonPottery's Shop Announcement

Located on Main Street in Trumansburg, New York, Salmon Pottery is the studio and gallery for Mary Ellen Salmon. Gallery shelves are filled with Mary Ellen's intricately textured pottery. All pieces are fully functional and dishwasher safe.

The inspiration for Mary Ellen’s current work comes from the geometry of designs in nature along with the pottery of Lucy Lewis. Mary Ellen hopes that the texture of her pots makes people not only want to pick them up, but use them as well. Though the process of making each individual indentation appears complex, it is actually quite meditative. The overall effect becomes almost organic.
