Welcome to my shop! My name is Rainey "Nasuġraq" Hopson. I'm an Inupiaq Eskimo artist from the North Slope of Alaska. I live in a tiny village called Anaktuvuk Pass where I live a Native lifestyle. I love anything that has to do with ART! I enjoy making jewelry, drawing, painting, printmaking, and will dabble in pretty much anything else.


~ All items are One Of A Kind. Each piece is a piece of artwork and will never be made again!

~ I will not mail art work made from Alaskan Native materials out of the U.S. except for some specific ones to Canada. This includes polar bear fur, claws, seal skin, walrus ivory, fossil walrus ivory, whale bone, baleen and any other material protected under Federal Laws. These laws are in place to protect the species from exploitation and are strictly adhered to. As a Inupiaq Eskimo I am one of the rare people that are allowed to create and sell artwork using these materials. We live a subsistence life in which we hunt and gather most of our food, these materials are the "leftovers." Please convo with any questions as my materials are a bit different than most.

~ Insurance on orders over $50.00 and shipping confirmation for tracking purposes is included. I will mail using Priority USPS mail only.

~All items will come in a gift box. Ready for gift giving or receiving.

~Be aware that I ship to the address listed in your ETSY profile, not your Paypal profile. Unless you notify me in notes on purchase invoice.

~ Also be aware that this household is very animal oriented. Not only do I have working dogs but I also create our clothes and gear from various furs that we harvest ourselves in the same studio I make my jewelry. I will do my best to try to insure that no hairs get caught in your pieces but you might find a hitchhiker or two. This is a smoke free household.

~I am not doing commissioned work at this time. My jewelry is a way for me to express my love for my culture and to find peace and relaxation from my 'day' job that takes most of my time. This is why my submissions are very sporadic and unpredictable, which are two attributes that are very much unwanted when it comes to commissions! Thank you so much for you understanding!
