Sankofa is the Adinkra symbol for "Take from the past what is good, and bring it into the future." My shop Sankofa Beads is a celebration of the symbol and personal adornment.

Using different stringing, hand-hammering, and wire-wrapping techniques, I create handcrafted pieces from semiprecious, shell, glass, wood and vintage beads. My work is for women - and men - who want to make a statement with their jewelry.
