Even though they certainly look lovely on any Christmas tree,and of course make wonderful holiday hostess gifts, I actually began creating them as wedding favors for my daughter's tropical themed wedding in the Bahamas fifteen years ago. They were such a hit, that I soon found myself receiving numerous requests for more and have been making them for family and friends ever since. One friend even put up a second beach themed Christmas tree in her Kansas home and I'm proud to say that many ornaments on that tree were my creations.

I personally create every ornament with loving attention to detail, using only the finest materials, such as jewelry findings, glass and ceramic beads, ribbons, lace, antique buttons and of course sea shells.

My personal favorite is the "Breast Cancer Awareness Angel". She is a beautiful representation of the blessing of hope and triumph that I and so many other survivors have experienced. Therefore she is adorned, fittingly with a pink ribbon. I will donate $2.00 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for each of these special ornaments that I sell.
