SewWriteCreations' Shop Policies
My goal is to produce fun, functional and beautiful products that you are proud to give or pleased to receive. Each item is unique and handmade, so even "duplicate" items in multiple purchases may differ slightly.
All amounts, including shipping/handling, are quoted in US dollars.
Our preferred payment method is through PayPal, but Direct Checkout is available if you'd prefer to use your credit card directly. I'm sorry, but I cannot take personal checks at this time.
Custom orders costing more than $25 will require a 50%, non-refundable deposit before any cutting & sewing will take place. Just convo me your needs, we'll agree on a full price and shipping, then I'll set up a RESERVED listing for you for the deposit. Once your item or items are completed, I'll set up another link for the balance due plus shipping. Please pay promptly so I won't have to hunt you down! :)

We normally ship 2-4 days after your payment clears, Monday - Friday. Orders may be, but are not necessarily, processed or shipped on weekends or holidays, so if you need something right away, please let me know. Unless the listing specifies RESERVED FOR or Custom Order, or you need further personalization, listed products are completely created and ready to ship.
If you're purchasing my item(s) as gifts, I'll be happy to ship directly to your recipient & I'll even enclose a notecard personalized from you! Just leave your message in the Notes to Seller box when you check out.
All order status communication is done via email or etsy convo, so it is important that your email address is accurate and current. You will receive an email confirmation and tracking information at the address listed on your payment.
Shipping fees are based on item, destination and USPS rates. We are pleased to offer combined shipping rates -- just put everything in your cart and Checkout all at once -- etsy will calculate the discounted shipping automatically!
All items are shipped either USPS First Class or Priority mail with delivery confirmation.
At this time, all items are listed for shipment only within the USA & Canada, however, if you convo me with your address prior to purchase, we will visit the Post Office and determine shipping charges to any other country and adjust the listing for you.
Customs fees & VAT are the responsibility of the buyer:
International buyers are responsible for any extra fees, duties,brokerage charges or other any charges put in place by your country. Please make sure you understand your country's laws before purchasing . If you refuse a shipment I can refund only once the package is safely back in my hands, less all shipping costs and any fees I may incur to get it back. Your patience with international shipping is certainly appreciated.
Also, please do not ask me to mark it as a gift. Marking it as a gift is mail fraud. If you ask this of me, I will have to cancel your order and refund your money.
Refunds and Exchanges
Changed your mind?!?!? Return it!
We want you to be totally happy with your purchase!
We take anything and everything back.. as long as you return it, unused and with all its pieces and parts and packaging...
Sew~Write Creations must receive the return within 14 days of purchase, OK? Please don't use the item then return it, that's just tacky.
If an exchange is needed, and you order the replacement item super fast, you'll be charged for the new order and then credited when Sew~Write Creations receives the original merchandise back.
If you would like to simply return your item for a refund, your refund will be processed once the item is in our hands, and not a moment before...just so ya know.
You may return the item using any method available. However, we do recommend using a method that can be tracked to avoid lost merchandise. If the item gets lost or damaged in transit, we will not be able to process a refund.
Sorry, original shipping cost is not reimbursed on returns or exchanges unless we mis-represented the item upon advertising, and that really isn't very likely, as I try hard to describe each item in complete & truthful detail.
Returning an item is as easy as 1-2-3!
Simply send us an email at kcallander989 [at] gmail.com with the following information:
1. What is the name and address listed on the order?
2. Is this going to be a return or an exchange?
3. What is the reason you're sending the item back?
4. If this is an exchange, what would you like to replace the original order with?
Pretty painless, huh?
We will provide you with a Return Authorization number (RA#).
You must E-mail us BEFORE sending your product back!
Returns that are not accompanied by a Return Authorization number will be refused and returned to the customer. We appreciate your understanding!

Custom orders are welcome and all requests will be gladly accepted and reviewed promptly. We'll get you an estimate of costs and delivery time straight away.
Just so ya know, we are a dog-friendly home, but she is not permitted to come in contact with any product or supplies.
