Shattered Photos are digitally manipulated photos. Many of my photos start out as botanicals, but by no means all! There is a great deal of beauty in ordinary things. (Yes, even spiders!) But when that “ordinary thing” is abstracted, it can become something out of the ordinary. I find the abstracted patterning of the kaleidoscopic images fascinating and comforting. Comforting (and mesmerizing) in their regularity. Fascinating in how the smallest pieces, when repeated, produce such beautiful patterns.

The prints I offer through Etsy are very limited editions, available only here, and part of the proceeds from the sale of those limited editions will benefit autism charities.
